Here in Heydon we hold events though the summer the first event will be St.George's day Sunday 25 April 2010

This is an annual event and this year will be a fund raising event in aid of the parish church and "help for Heroes"

There will be a full day of action with Tug of war team's trying to win the keenly sort after "Tug of war trophy"

Also in the village our own local pub will run a "Mini Beer Fest"

Villagers and helpers will also run for your entertainment various stalls selling Cakes, and brick-a-brack With the ever popular Tombola.

8th May 2010 Night in the Village hall

V.E Day (victory in Europe) celebrations an evening of fun and nostalgia.

To celebrate the end of war in Europe.

There will be a buffet and a bar with on stage entertainment and music from the times.

Fancy dress as appropriate Military or Civilian will be worn.

This is a ticket event tickets are avalable from the Teashop or the Old Postoffice here in the village.

All procedes to help keep our Village hall useable for all to enjoy.

Then there is Garden open day in the village.

This takes place on the 30th May 2010.

A day for fun for all the family and again all proceeds go to charity.
